Science Simulated helps students build a picture of what’s happening beneath the surface. Our goal is to make abstract chemistry approachable through visual models, meaningful choices, and opportunities to investigate.
Created by a high school science teacher, for the questions that make a classroom come alive.
Start with a question.
What changes? What stays the same? Bring your curiosity to an interactive model.
Make the connection.
Link atoms, molecules, and their interactions to observations, measurements, and chemical ideas.
Explain your discovery.
Use what you observe to support an explanation. Companion worksheets help put that thinking on paper.
Great exploration.
Even better with a plan.
Pair a simulation with a companion worksheet to guide observations, organize data, and help students explain the chemistry.

02 EXPLORE · What do you observe?
03 EXPLAIN · What’s your evidence?
Before you explore.
Are the simulations free?
Yes. Science Simulated’s online simulations are designed to be free to explore. Companion worksheets are optional purchases through our TPT store.
Where are the simulations?
Choose an AP Chemistry unit above to open its simulation collection. Find Atomic Model Lab in Unit 1, Lewis Lab in Unit 2, Intermolecular Forces Explorer in Unit 3, and Ionic Reactions in Unit 4. More simulations will be added as the collection grows.
Do students need a worksheet?
No. Students can explore a simulation on its own. Companion worksheets provide structure for observations, data, and explanations when you want a guided classroom activity.
